History

In 1981, the Grote Family founded CINFAB to provide a quality sheet metal fabrication and construction solution to complement the Grote family of construction companies. Following a few years of successful growth, CINFAB moved to our current location on Lester Road in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Much foresight went into the planning of our merit sheet metal fabrication shop – a 30,000 square-foot facility, equipped with the latest in fabrication technology and room to grow. The shop's layout, space, and equipment technology, combined with our experienced coordination department and state-of-the-art 3-D and piece marking software and systems, allows CINFAB to provide valued customers and owners with the highest Quality Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Systems for the best value available.

In 2005, CINFAB was able to foresee that future opportunities would be in large health care facilities planned for the region. With the opportunities in sight, CINFAB geared up its shop capacity and field installation force to meet the growing demand. The major health care, stadium, and downtown facility infrastructure work allowed CINFAB to continue its growth in the Cincinnati region and led to an expansion in 2008 into Kentucky and a new operation in Lexington, designed to service the expanding Kentucky markets.

Today at CINFAB, we still take pride in being the largest merit sheet metal fabrication and installation contractor within our region, providing our customers with superior fabricated products and a seasoned team of veteran foremen and project managers. Together with the support of our engineering and coordination departments, we have successfully met the challenges of many difficult projects on fast-track schedules.

We plan to continue growth throughout the 21st century with a renewed commitment to investing in our people, processes, and the new equipment and engineering technologies available to us.
